Because of its high abrasion resistance, nylon is used in filtration of abrasive dusts or wet abrasive solids at low temperatures. Nylon’s good elasticity makes it ideal for conditions where continuous flexing takes place. This fabric is a good choice in wet filtration applications, at low temperatures and in an alkaline atmosphere, for example in dyestuffs. Fabrics of nylon provide excellent cake release.

HEAT RESISTANCE: At up to 260°F, nylon has reasonably good dry heat resistance. It is superior to acetate, modacrylic and saran, but most other synthetics are superior to it. Nylon performs adequately in moist heat temperatures ranging up to 225°F; however its high initial tensile strength and abrasion resistance will make it a preferred choice in a number of applications.

Usage of Woven PA(Nylon) Filter Fabric

mainly used for liquid-soild separation. Mainly used in the industries of chemical, coal mining,building materials, melting, for equipment in the strong alkali operating conditions, such as frame filter press, 
disc filters, and centrifuge filter

Performance of Monofilament Woven PA(Nylon) Filter Fabric

(1) Great permeability of air and water. 
(2) Less jam possibility. 
(3) Filter cake can be easily released and recycled.

Performance of multifilament Woven PA(Nylon) Filter Fabric

(1) Great strength,especially its anti-abrasion is top-ranked in all general fibers. 
(2) Resist strong alkali and weak acid. 
(3) The strength expense can be ignored after dealt with NaoH(10%),as Polyamide is used 16h in the state of 90℃. 
(4) It's continual applied temperature within 120℃ and the instant applied temperature can be up to 150℃. 
(5) Polyamide(Nylon) can not be applied in the field of Pharmacy and Food industry.
