Today we will briefly introduce the difference between Acrylic needle felt and Polyester needle felt for you. We gonna make this comparison in below aspects:
1. Working Temperature: Polyester needle felt is 130-150, Acrylic needle felt is 125-140. In this temperature aspect, these two materials can be used in the same working condition. They can exchange with each other;
2. Breaking Strength: Normally polyester needle felt is 800-1100, but shangbang filter can make 1400/1500 to meet customer’s needs; Acrylic needle felt is 1200-1300, in this way, Acrylic is more strong than Polyester;
3. Price: Acrylic is much higher than Polyester, about 4 times than polyester needle felt
4. Chemical characteristics: Polyester has normal acid and alkali resistance, while Acrylic has very good acid and alkali resistance.
That’s why polyester needle felt is normally used in steel or powder industry, while Acrylic can be used in Chemical industry. And Acrylic color is light yellow, polyester is white, Acrylic color is more beautiful than polyester needle felt.
